HVAC Journeyman Service Technician

Our client, a well-established and growing HVAC company, is seeking an experienced HVAC Journeyman Service Technician to join their team in the Lehigh Valley . This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and the opportunity for long-term career growth.

We are looking for a skilled HVAC professional with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC systems and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control-system issues
• Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and other HVAC equipment
• Accurately diagnose system problems and recommend appropriate repairs
• Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak detection
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain recommended repairs
• Complete service tickets and maintain accurate job documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, HVAC codes, and company standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience
• Journeyman-level HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting ability
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Solid understanding of refrigeration systems and HVAC controls
• Experience servicing and repairing residential and/or commercial HVAC equipment
• EPA 608 certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
