Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the full lifespan, from newborn through geriatric populations, in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care and practice
• Manage patients requiring drips and ventilator support
• Collaborate closely with pre-hospital, in-hospital, and emergency department personnel to ensure seamless, team-based patient care
• Adapt quickly and effectively to high-stress, high-acuity situations while maintaining excellent communication with patients, families, and care team members
• Operate within a newly renovated Emergency Department utilizing EPIC EMR, state-of-the-art monitors, and advanced communication devices

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience
• Prior travel nursing experience (minimum 3 months)
• Active BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Active ACLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Active PALS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Must have personal vehicle available for this assignment
• Availability to work required holiday blocks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods) if scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Greater than 2 years of ED experience (candidates with more experience will receive first consideration)
