Patient Care TechnicianTryfacta is seeking a Patient Care Technician for our client in Portland, OR 97211. This is a 13-week contract assignment. Position Title: Patient Care Technician Location: Portland, OR 97211 Duration: 13 weeks Work Schedule: Night 5x8-Hour (22:00 - 06:30) Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, grooming, and ambulation.Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations.Assist with turning, repositioning, and transferring patients safely.Collect and transport specimens and perform routine catheter care.Maintain infection control standards and proper PPE usage.Assist with patient transport and support nursing staff with daily patient care.Operate equipment such as glucometers, pulse oximeters, Hoyer lifts, and hospital beds.Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including performing CPR when needed.To be considered for this position, you should have:Minimum 2 years of Patient Care Technician or equivalent acute care experience.Current BLS Certification (Required).Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.Familiarity with Epic and/or Cerner EMR systems is a plus.Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.Tryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
