Job Overview

STUDENT PROGRAM FORMAT:

This student program will follow an in-person model. Students will be based onsite at the Stellantis Headquarters & Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Students are expected to work 24 hours per week, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Candidates who are selected for the program will work with their manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule where candidates fulfill the 24-hour requirement, while balancing their class schedule. During the summer months, students may potentially work 40 hours per week. This determination will be at management’s discretion. Student program cohorts start on a quarterly basis in January, April, June, and September, and students are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

Students will be assigned to a department based on the candidate’s background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the student to provide valuable contributions. DEPARTMENT DETAILS:

Stellantis’ future vehicle and powertrain portfolio is heavily influenced by the regulatory requirements driving cleaner vehicles. The North America Compliance Planning organization works to understand the requirements and drive efficient solutions that meet both customer and regulatory needs in the present and into the future in the most efficient way possible. We work across the enterprise to develop solutions and integrate them into our short and long-term plans. The dynamic shifts of customer wants and regulatory drivers in this space makes these tasks particularly challenging.

This student program position in NA Compliance Planning will have the opportunity to understand and analyze vehicle programs, as well as balance fleet objectives to make strategic recommendations for our portfolio. Topics may include assessing and managing performance of greenhouse gases (GHG), Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE), tailpipe emissions (smog forming pollutants), and developing digital tools.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study at the time of hire
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Able to work 24 hours per week, year-round

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Data analytics
• Advanced analytical and PowerPoint presentation building skills
• Previous automotive internships/experience
• Leveraging AI to drive efficiency and insights
• Strong interest in automotive industry
