HR Director, Community BankingShape the people strategy behind a growing community bank as its HR Director, reporting directly to the President and CEO.Location: Baton Rouge, LAJob Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings or weekendsMust-Haves7+ years of progressive HR experience across employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, and complianceExperience in a role such as HR Director, HR Manager, or HR Business PartnerProven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities as a department of oneHands-on HR generalist skills, from policy development to payroll integrationAbility to travel frequently to branch locations and occasionally overnight for conferencesWhat You'll DoOwn all core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and policyAdvise managers and senior leadership on hiring, performance, discipline, and terminationsCoach employees on performance, conduct, and workplace concernsAdminister benefits programs, including enrollment, broker and vendor coordination, and payroll integrationManage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to reference checks and applicant trackingLead EEO and affirmative action compliance, including planning and reportingAdminister FMLA and PTO programs and coordinate with payroll and timekeepingMaintain confidential personnel files, job descriptions, and the employee uniform programPartner with outside legal counsel on compliance and employment mattersComplete required BSA/AML training and uphold internal compliance policiesNice-to-HavesBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent experience considered)PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification, or actively pursuing oneBanking or financial services HR experienceCompensation and BenefitsDirect reporting line to the President and CEOConsistent Monday to Friday daytime scheduleHigh-impact leadership role with full ownership of the HR functionAbout the CompanyA growing community bank with multiple branch locations, known for its collaborative leadership team and commitment to the communities it serves.To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
