In this role, youll work closely with students, staff, and families to implement behavior strategies, support skill development, and create a safe, structured, and positive environment.What Youll Do:Provide daily behavioral and educational support to studentsImplement and support Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelityAssist in developing and monitoring behavior goals and progressSupport staff in behavior management strategies, reinforcement techniques, and intervention approachesProvide coaching, guidance, and leadership to Education Support StaffCollaborate with clinicians, teachers, and leadership to support student successEngage directly with students in school, community, and experiential learning environmentsPromote skill development in social, recreational, and daily living areasMaintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for all studentsSupervise students at all times to ensure safety and engagementFacilitate conflict resolution and support positive peer interactionsCommunicate with families and involve them in behavior support strategiesProvide training and modeling of best practices to staffMaintain accurate documentation, attendance records, and incident reportsEnsure compliance with all policies, including confidentiality and safety proceduresSupport additional duties as assignedWhy Join Fundamentals?Competitive pay based on experience and qualificationsWeekly payCareer growth and ongoing training opportunitiesSupportive, team-oriented environmentMeaningful work with direct impact on youth and familiesFull-time benefits include:401(k) with match, health insurance, dental & vision, life insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity plans, PTO, holiday pay, and disability coverage.What We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED requiredBachelors degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field (preferred)3+ years experience in youth behavior support or related field1+ year leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and youth developmentAbility to build positive relationships with youth, families, and staffStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsAbility to manage challenging or physically aggressive behaviorsAbility to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all timesAbility to actively engage with youth in a variety of settingsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with student positioning if neededValid drivers license requiredMust pass Caregiver Background CheckSchedule & Program Details:This position works MondayFriday 8AM4PM year-round.
