Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Several years of professional experience as a school-based SLP Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder endorsement, or a State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Background working with students who have moderate to severe disabilities Experience using a range of augmentative communication systems (both low and high tech) Valid Oregon drivers license and (if required) First Aid/CPR card Outstanding ability to collaborate and communicate with students, families, and school staff Commitment to confidentiality regarding sensitive student and school information Role Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language services to K-12 students per IEP goals Evaluate, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students with varied communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and specialists in a multidisciplinary team structure Document and monitor student progress with clarity and compliance Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs in the classroom Educate and guide school staff and parents to improve student outcomes Why This Contract?Explore multiple on-site opportunities with the chance to make a significant impact across schools.
