Infectious Disease Physician

Vitruvian Health and Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) are recruiting an Infectious Disease Physician for Hamilton Medical Center.

Qualified candidates:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infections Disease.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, compassionate interactions with diverse patients including care for patients with HIV.
• Ideal candidate should enjoy teaching and feel comfortable mentoring residents in a collaborative learning environment.
• Ability to work as a team member and establish strong relationships with fellow members of medical staff, hospital and clinical staff.
• Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care.

Department Overview:

• Schedule: 3-4 half days in clinic per week and hospital consults
• Volume consists of 70% Inpatient and 30% Outpatient
• Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency program
• Involvement in the expanding of outreach clinics in the surrounding area.
