Wed love to hear from you./ppAbout the position:/ppThe Energy Renewables Power (RP) team is part of ING Sector Coverage. The RP team covers the power renewables market in the Americas, with a primary focus on leading project finance lending transactions. The team covers all power generation technologies including natural gas, solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and battery storage./ppResponsibilities :/pulliNew Deal Origination/Execution Support: support MDs, Directors and VPs in the RP Team in the origination of and/or participation in power project financings/liliPerforming due diligence and preparing presentation materials for new financing opportunities, capital structuring or MA transactions/liliPrepare pitches, briefing notes, and marketing materials for client meetings and new commercial opportunities/liliIdentify and drive cross-sell opportunities from meetings with product partners and clients/liliSupport product partners in leading and structuring private placement and ABS transactions/liliReviewing financing documents and material project agreements; liaise with internal and external legal counsels./liliDemonstrate thought leadership and contribute strategic insights for the development of INGs business/li/ulpQualifications and Competencies/ppRequisite Skill Set:/pulliStrong academic track record with Undergraduate or Masters from top school/liliSolid math skills essential/liliStrong written and oral communication skills/liliMust be highly detail-oriented/liliMust be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines/liliProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint): Must have strong Excel skills and be able to build financial debt models./liliFundamental understanding of GAAP accounting principles and comfort with core financial statements (Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet)./liliFundamental understanding of key financial markets and products./liliBasic understanding of corporate and bankruptcy law./liliTeam Player, self-motivated high quality/high quantity producer/li/ulpOther :/pulliWriting sample preferably a credit analysis/liliTaking a basic debt modelling test/liliReferences/liliEducation : Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or Engineering/liliExperience: 4-5 years of relevant project/corporate finance experience ideally in the North American power industry/liliMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word/liliSeries 79/63 preferred but not required/li/ulpSalary: $130,000 - $175,000/ppIn addition to comprehensive health benefits, a generous 401k savings plan, and competitive PTO, ING provides a broad array of benefits including adoption, surrogacy, and fertility services; student debt assistance; and subsidies for expenses associated with commuting and fitness.
