As an integral part of the UAMS Cardiac Surgery team, the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant works collaboratively with the attending physicians to ensure continuity of care for Cardiac Surgery patients. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant helps plan, implement, and evaluate health care treatments. The Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant will be responsible for rounding on inpatients admitted to the cardiac surgery team as well as providing patient consultations for the cardiac surgery service.
