Office Manager – Construction / Foundation Repair

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager for a construction and foundation repair company. This position requires a strong combination of office management, construction industry knowledge, scheduling, and field operations experience . The ideal candidate will be comfortable coordinating crews, managing daily operations, and using computer software to keep projects organized and running efficiently.

Location: Johnson County, KS
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Summary

The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations, crew scheduling, job assignments, supply ordering, and coordination between office personnel and field crews . This position requires someone with construction management experience who understands field operations and can effectively manage schedules, communicate with crews, and maintain accurate job information using computer software.

Essential Functions

• Manage daily office operations and administrative responsibilities
• Coordinate and maintain construction schedules and crew assignments
• Schedule jobs and communicate project details to field crews
• Utilize Jobber software to manage scheduling, job information, and daily operations
• Order and maintain supplies, materials, and equipment needed for projects
• Communicate with field crews regarding job assignments, scheduling changes, and project needs
• Assist with coordinating multiple construction projects and service appointments
• Maintain accurate job records, schedules, and customer information
• Communicate professionally with customers, employees, and management
• Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts and operational issues
• Ensure field crews have the necessary information and materials to complete assigned jobs
• Support overall business operations and improve office efficiency

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous construction management or construction office management experience
• Strong understanding of construction field operations and crew coordination
• Experience managing employee schedules, job assignments, and project timelines
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn industry-specific software
• Experience with Jobber software preferred
• Ability to coordinate multiple crews and projects simultaneously
• Experience ordering supplies and coordinating materials for construction projects
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Previous experience in foundation repair, residential construction, general contracting, or similar construction environments preferred
• Must have both administrative/computer experience and hands-on knowledge of construction field operations
