What You'll Do Develop, implement, and manage the NQA-1 control program for the Fabrication LOB Supervise and coach QC Technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management Coordinate supplier and internal audits Maintain and enforce compliance with ASME NQA-1 industry standard and all associated legal requirements Review and approve QC reports, inspection results, and documentation Review purchase contracts during bidding and purchasing on all Nuclear projects Collaborate with production, engineering, management teams, and the customer to resolve contract issues Resolve all quality issues prior to shipment Report Non-Compliances to the customer and to the NRC when appropriate Verify all NQA-1 safety‑related documentation is correct and complete Perform surveillance over vendor sites who do not have an NQA-1 program when the vendor’s products or services are being used for NQA-1 safety‑related projects Maintain NIAC accreditation for performing audits What You'll Need Minimum 2 years experience as supervisor, preferred Strong knowledge of NQA-1 quality standard and applicable Codes of Federal Regulation Knowledge of ACI, ASTM, and state/federal regulations for steel reinforcing products used in the construction of nuclear power generation facilities Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and guide team members Ability to drive results through collaboration and influence Excellent written and oral communication skills Your Education Bachelor’s Degree in a science, mathematics, or engineering, and 2 years’ experience as an auditor or Quality System Administrator Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and 5 years’ experience as an auditor or Quality System Administrator We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
