This is what we strive to be and who we want to join us in providing the best care possible for patients to help our communities be healthier, feel better, and smile with confidence.Our team is seeking a Patient Coordinator that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and their families making them feel welcome in the practiceGather patient information, create their files, and verify insurance eligibilityMaintain a productive schedule for the day and schedule future appointmentsConfirm patient appointments and update the schedule as neededAnswer patient questions about insurance and financial arrangementsCollect and post payments from patients and insurance companiesBalance nightly deposits and complete credit card processingQualificationsHigh school diploma required, a degree or additional education in a business or healthcare discipline preferredMinimum of two (2) years' experience in a dental, medical, healthcare, or customer service environmentKnowledge of dental insurance and explanation of benefits preferredExcellent communication skills with both the team and patientsProficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, Dentrix experience strongly preferredBenefitsAs a valued team member, you'll enjoy a rewarding career with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
