Qualifications:

• Current Idaho State Teaching Certificate
• Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate required
• Special Education endorsement
• Prior experience in an educational resource center setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care needs
• Eager to collaborate with teachers, therapists, staff, and families
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ unique needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Support students’ academic, social-emotional, and functional development
• Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies for students with varied abilities
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community that values diversity and growth
• Communicate progress to families, ensuring strong home–school partnerships
