Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a role with flexible hours and a supportive work environment in a vibrant pharmacy setting. The position offers 24-30 hours per week, focusing on high-quality patient care through prescription filling, verification, and counseling.

Location: O’Fallon, IL

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, on-call with additional pay)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions following all regulatory and safety standards
• Provide thorough patient counseling on medication use and potential side effects
• Handle emergency orders during weekend on-call shifts
• Utilize pharmacy software (PioneerRx experience preferred) to manage prescription workflows
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Pharmacy License
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience as a staff pharmacist in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with PioneerRx software is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently and provide patient-oriented service

Additional Information:

• Contract to hire arrangement
• On-call compensation provided at $8/hour during Sunday shifts
• Signed agreements required to ensure mutual commitment
