This position was created as part of our long-term sales expansion and succession planning strategy, offering a unique opportunity to develop into a future sales and client leadership role. Working alongside experienced sales leaders, the CDA will focus on developing new business opportunities, supporting existing client relationships, expanding market presence, and building a pipeline of future projects. This role combines business development, networking, prospecting, client engagement, account support, and sales strategy execution while providing a clear path for career advancement within the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and developing a long-term career in business development, sales, and account management. Candidates from B2B sales, recruiting, customer service, hospitality, telecommunications, construction, or other relationship-focused industries are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, cold outreach, referrals, and relationship building.Research target accounts, identify decision-makers, and uncover potential project opportunities.Schedule introductory meetings, site visits, and capability presentations with prospective clients.Support existing client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth and repeat business.Partner with operations, preconstruction, finance, and sales teams to support client pursuits and ongoing opportunities.Maintain accurate account activity, pipeline information, and client interactions within CRM systems.Participate in training, mentorship, and professional development programs designed to prepare you for future sales leadership opportunities.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Experience in sales, business development, recruiting, customer service, hospitality, account management, or another relationship-focused role preferred.Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.Confidence initiating conversations and developing new business opportunities.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn CRM systems and sales tools.Ability to travel locally within the Roanoke market and maintain company driving requirementCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $55,000 - $65,000Performance-Based Bonus OpportunitiesMonthly Car AllowanceCell Phone AllowanceHybrid Work ScheduleCareer Development & Advancement OpportunitiesComprehensive Benefits Package Edmonson Electric Inc
