Accounts Receivable Specialist

Cassia , a nonprofit senior living organization, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. Based at our Edina, MN corporate office, this full‑time position will support billing for Medicare A, Managed Care, and Medicaid. Successful candidates will have experience in healthcare and medical assistance billing, and proficiency in our AR software and Excel. The role reports to the Director of Reimbursement. Position Type Full‑Time; potential for hybrid remote work after training. Pay Range $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Location 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439 Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities Complete Care Center and Assisted Living billing and collection. Post cash and ancillaries to accounts accurately and timely. Generate private pay statements. Generate claims and submit them timely and accurately to all payers. Perform all collection for assigned payers to ensure timely payments. Manage days outstanding for all facilities to meet organization’s requirements. Determine if billing issues are causing payment delays and correct them. Perform all closing functions timely and accurately. Use DDE, MN‑ITS, Excel, and third‑party payer websites. Meet deadlines as assigned by manager. Participate in internal committees and meetings. Participate in staff training programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications Must have 1+ years of Skilled Nursing Facility billing experience. Must have Medicare A, Managed Care, and Medicaid billing experience.
