We are seeking a compassionate and driven physiatry physician to join our post-acute care team in the Tucson, Arizona, area. This is a part-time opportunity (2-4 weekends per month) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.\n

\nCompensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated range of $77,000 to $93,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This part-time role is not benefit eligible.\n

\nIn this role, you'll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. You will have an opportunity to deliver exceptional care during life's pivotal moments.\n

\nOur comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. \nOur innovative population health data reports will guide you towards optimal and timely care for our patient population. The medical practice is part of TeamACO, a dedicated long-term Accountable Care Organization participating in the Medicare Shared Savings Program for our clinicians, which could result in you receiving a portion of the shared savings if certain criteria are met.\n
\n
\nOur Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. Medical directorship opportunities could provide a significant increase to your income.\n

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
\n
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
\n
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
\n
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
\n
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
\n

Qualifications \n

\n
• Current physician license (State of Arizona) and DEA
\n
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred but not required
\n
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
