Preventative Vehicle Maintenance Technician Holland Roofing Florence, KY 41042 Job Summary: We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Preventative Maintenance Technicianto join our team. As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you'll assist experienced technicians in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on commercial roofing equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities: Assist senior technicians with repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Perform basic repair and maintenance tasks (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations). Fleet consists of various gas and diesel equipment Conduct visual inspections and report issues to senior technicians. Learn and apply knowledge of mechanical principles and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Assist with inventory management and parts ordering. Develop skills in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques. Picking up parts (driving required) Should be familiar with shop equipment (jacks, jack stands, air tools) Physical requirements, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting 50lbs. repeated daily, 75 to 100lbs on occasion. Basic hand tools required, safety shoes. Other activities as required Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of vocational training or technical school (preferred). Valid driver's license. Basic toolset and willingness to learn. Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces. Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of mechanical experience. Familiarity with commercial roofing equipment (e.g., boom lifts, forklifts). Basic computer skills For the right candidate, this Preventative Maintenance Technician position may provide an opportunity to be considered for advancement into a future managerial role. The candidate must be willing to train on equipment, vehicle maintenance, and other operational duties currently performed by management.
