MSP System Administrator

Overview An established and fast-growing Healthcare IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) is seeking a highly skilled IT Technician to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with healthcare clients, manage both onsite and remote support needs, and handle complex networking and systems issues across diverse environments. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced Level 2 support for servers, networks, and business-critical systems Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and wireless access points (Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall, Ubiquiti, Juniper) Support and administer Office 365 solutions Deliver clear, professional, and timely communication to clients and internal teams Accurately document work in the ticketing system and contribute to internal knowledge sharing Mentor junior technicians and assist in technical skill development Perform onsite client visits as required (mileage reimbursed) Requirements Minimum 5 years of IT experience , with 3+ years in an MSP environment Hands-on expertise with networking hardware, security appliances, and listed vendors Strong proficiency in Office 365, Active Directory, and VOIP administration Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced support setting Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for client site visits Benefits $60,000-$80,000 Health, dental, and vision insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) plan with employer match (up to 4%) Short-term and long-term disability coverage Group life insurance Mileage reimbursement for client visits This is an excellent opportunity for a driven IT professional who’s ready to take the next step in their MSP career, work directly with clients, and support critical healthcare IT environments.
