Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Schedule: Nights

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- RN license in hand (compact or state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- EPIC experience required
- Core clinical skills:
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- IV start/maintenance, peripheral/PICC/central line care
- ABG interpretation, arterial line management
- High-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care
- Blood product administration, basic dialysis pre/post care
- Wound care, phlebotomy, experience with rapid response/code teams

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Interpret telemetry readings and respond to dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record.

Compliance / Notes:
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Credentialing deadlines must be strictly followed; timely completion of fingerprinting and credentialing is necessary.
- Two professional references required, including one from a manager or director.
- RNs must have a valid nursing license at the time of submission.
