Collections Specialist (B2B)$24.00-$26.00 per hourLocation: Phoenix, ArizonaLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing corporate office in Phoenix, AZ that is looking to add a Collections Specialist to the accounting team. This individual will be handling high volume outbound calls to collect on B2B past-due accounts. This is an onsite position Monday through Friday full-time.Job ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of business and consumer accounts with outstanding balances.Contact customers via high volume outbound calls as well as some inbound correspondence regarding overdue invoices.Negotiate payment arrangements and establish payment plans when appropriate.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputed invoices, and payment issues.Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on risk and account status.Document all collection activity accurately within the accounting or CRM system.Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Sales, Customer Service, and Management teams to resolve customer concerns.Review account histories and identify trends affecting collections performance.Recommend accounts for escalation, legal review, write-off, or third-party collections when necessary.Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable collection regulations.Prepare collection reports and provide updates on high-risk accounts.Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Minimum 2 years of collections, accounts receivableProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.If you meet the minimum requirements apply now!
