Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides advanced clinical care to hospitalized patients under the supervision of or in collaboration with a physician hospitalist. The NP manages patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring continuity and quality of care throughout the hospital stay.

• Location: Gateway Regional Medical Center 2100 Madison Ave. Granite City, IL 62040
• Work Schedule: Sunday-Saturday 12hr shifts, 15 days per month

Education Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Certification Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
• Valid state license and DEA registration
• National board certification as an Acute Care NP (ACNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or Family NP (FNP)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS)
