Job Summary Data Center Construction - Project Controls Manager Miller Electric is seeking a Project Controls Manager who will oversee project teams responsible for cost control, forecasting, change management, scheduling, reporting, and earned value management across multiple data center construction projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Own the Project Controls Scope of multiple new Data Center construction sites Lead action‑oriented weekly and monthly meetings with team members Maintain open communication across projects Understand and communicate client needs to relevant teams Commit to organized and accurate documentation Collaborate with key stakeholders by gathering feedback, attending meetings, and submitting update reports Streamline and communicate project controls processes Develop innovative process improvements Train management staff on project control procedures Ensure compliance with project control requirements Supervise, lead, and mentor team members Make data‑driven decisions regarding Project Controls performance by collecting and analyzing relevant statistics Prepare and present reports to update upper management on Project Control activities Evaluate and incorporate lessons learned from all sites to enhance current and future Data Center Construction success Qualifications Education & Experience (Required) 5+ years of Construction Project Controls experience on large commercial projects Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, etc.) paired with industry experience, or an appropriate combination of certification, experience, and education Commitment to continuous improvement in communication, organization, and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with customers, GCs, owners, and office personnel Ability to budget time appropriately Confidence to proactively request support or deadline adjustment when completing tasks Ability to remain calm under deadlines and external pressure Knowledge of AIA billings and forms Excellent math skills Primavera P6 experience Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time Tactful conflict resolution and problem‑solving abilities Preferred Mission Critical Project experience Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI‑Scheduling Professional (SP) Experience with Microsoft Suite, COINs, Primavera P6, and ConEst Benefits Medical and Dental (100% of the premium covered by Miller Electric) 401k retirement with company matching Vision plans Disability Insurance Basic and Supplemental Life Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Travel Accident Insurance Paid Vacation & Holidays Tuition Reimbursement Program College Coach Services Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled Affirmative Action Policy Please review our Affmem Action Policy.
