Director of Clinical Services

Job Summary:

Harmony Hospice is seeking a compassionate and visionary Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical operations in Chicopee, MA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of high-quality hospice care, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and support of our patients and their families. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel

• Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards

• Perform chart audits and gather data for QAPI activities

• Appraise clinical staff performance during their probationary period and annually

• Identify and evaluate patient needs and appropriateness of home care

• Maintain patient clinical records and assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as CHAP standards of care

• Assist with the orientation of new staff and participate in audits, IDG meetings, and QAPI

• Maintain adequate and appropriate Medical Supplies

• Responsible for orientation of new personnel and in-services for current staff

• Ensure Medicare, State, and CHAP regulations are followed by all clinical staff

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Registered Nurse licensed by the state of Massachusetts

• At least one (1) year of supervisory experience

• Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community

• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and CHAP standards

• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing

• Self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others, with a commitment to goal achievement
