Shipping & Receiving Associate

Description Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., in Oyster Bay, NY, has an opportunity available for a Shipping and Receiving Associate on the first shift. The right individual will be trained on how to pack and ship product, as well as operate all shipping equipment. Job Responsibilities:
- Keep track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipments
- Track inventory counts and check for damages or discrepancies
- Properly account for the location of incoming goods
- Ensure no damaged items are sent or received
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that products in each delivery match the packing list
- Update the product inventory as products are received and added to inventory
- Package products for return to vendors and fill out any necessary paperwork
- High School Diploma
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Able to use computers for shipping program and the internet
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reports to Department Manager
- Full-time, Hourly Employee
- First Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
- Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
