Finance Associate / Senior Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a finance associate or senior associate for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in finance law, advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, direct lenders, and banks on various financing transactions. Duties Represent corporate borrowers and/or lenders on institutional term loans. Handle alternative lender and private credit transactions. Manage commercial bank loans and acquisition financings. Engage in syndicated credit facilities and leveraged lending. Draft, negotiate, and analyze complex financial documents. Requirements 4+ years of relevant experience in finance law. Experience with acquisition financings and private credit transactions. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New York. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop deep client relationships.
