Aaron Ford for Nevada Governor: Influencer Coordinator

The Ford for Governor campaign is seeking a full-time Influencer Coordinator to join our digital team. The Influencer Coordinator will report to the Digital Director and be responsible for leading the day-to-day management and coordination of influencers and digital creator partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Working with the digital team to match influencer strategy with social media strategy
• Working with the digital and communications teams to identify and build influencer buckets
• Guiding and communicating with consultants to identify and reach out to influencers
• Owning, building, and managing influencer and content creator relationships
• Communicating with influencers and creators to align their goals with campaign goals
• Partnering with influencers and creators to identify appropriate collaboration opportunities
• Attending events with influencers and creators to capture digital and social media content
• Editing videos, photos, and other assets as needed
• Helping manage stakeholders including digital fellows and external consultants as needed
• Assisting with other digital team or campaign-related activities as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with influencers, including identifying, building, and managing influencer relationships and partnerships
• Ability to connect influencer and creator objectives with campaign objectives
• Experience prepping, managing, and maximizing face time between creators and principals
• Understanding of digital media best practices, such as content format and messaging
• Understanding of what kind of content, particularly video content, pops on social media
• Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
• Ability to move quickly in fast-paced situations such as rapid response moments
• Access to a car and ability to travel with the candidate and campaign in Nevada as needed

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience recording and producing basic video or photographic content
• Experience with basic video, photo, and / or graphic design editing (e.g. CapCut, Canva)
