- Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering tests as needed, and creating tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing various acute and chronic health issues, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers or independently based on credentialing
- Instructing patients and their families on health maintenance, wellness, and illness prevention
- Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your professional scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic conditions
- Working alongside diverse teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care
- Accurately documenting evaluations and care in our electronic medical records system
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Certification from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a suitable equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or obtained within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical knowledge coupled with a nurturing patient approach
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, effectively engaging patients, families, and clinical teams
- Flexibility in a dynamic, patient-oriented setting
- Proficient in electronic medical records systems and comfortable with telehealth technologies
