Project Manager - Impact Finance, Affordable Housing

Negotiate, structure, underwrite, and close debt and equity investments utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) Manage relationships with customers and internal Production/Syndications Business Development Officers Coordinate drafting, collection, and review of documents and financial projections necessary to close lending opportunities Support Bank’s investments and manage internal employee teams in preparing and funding initial closing funds Transition closed loans to portfolio management and asset/fund management departments for ongoing maintenance and management Participate in establishing policies and procedures for accomplishing group's tasks Requirements Typically Bachelor's degree and five or more years of related experience OR MBA/JD with one or more years of directly related experience Basic knowledge of risk assessment and evaluating targeted returns from investments Some knowledge of construction finance, legal documentation and requirements, real estate property management, and accounting General real estate background preferred Some knowledge of LIHTC, RETC, HTC and/or NMTC preferred Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in negotiating and structuring debt and equity investments, particularly utilizing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Proficient in managing relationships, coordinating documentation, and supporting investment processes within real estate finance.
