IOP Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Irvington, AL Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Vaccination Requirement This position requires full COVID-19 vaccination. All prospective hires must provide proof of vaccination or qualify for a medical or religious accommodation, subject to applicable law. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training must be from an accredited agency if work experience is not present. Proven customer service track record. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime when needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or client office. The role requires exceptional customer service, skilled specimen collection, and consistent representation of the company. Opportunities for continuous growth within the organization are available.
