Job Title: Pediatric Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatric Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 4x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Pediatric Emergency Department Experience Required License: NY RN License Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Required Must-Have: - BLS Certification - PALS Certification - ACLS Certification - 2 Years Pediatric Emergency Room Experience - NIHSS Certification Description: The Pediatric Emergency Department offers family-centered care for individuals under the age of 19. Patients seek care for urgent and emergent issues. This facility operates as a Level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center. The unit consists of general care beds, critical care beds, urgent care beds, and a trauma bay shared with adult services. Tertiary care is provided, accommodating a complex case mix. Staff are trained to function in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Burn care experience is highly desirable. TNCC, ATCN, or ABLS certifications are preferred.
