Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to the physician’s plan.
- Position and immobilize patients; verify treatment site and dose accuracy; use imaging guidance as required.
- Operate linear accelerator and related therapy equipment; perform routine quality assurance checks under protocol.
- Document treatment delivery and patient response; communicate with radiation oncologist and oncology team.
- Ensure safety and radiation protection standards; monitor patient comfort and safety during treatment sessions.
- RTO: No more than 3 days may be requested per 13-week contract.

Requirements
- Flu vaccine required (no exceptions) per job notes.
- Active state license or eligibility to practice Radiation Therapist per Arizona requirements.
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy or eligible.
- Prior clinical experience in radiation therapy; travel experience preferred.
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (100-mile radius rule).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical center setting; able to cover a short-term vacation assignment.
