Shifts and Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts
• Rotating every other weekend and major holidays

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in lab draws and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required at time of start)
• Ability to pass an EKG exam at orientation (study guide provided)
• Comfort managing cardiac drips, titrations, BiPAP, insulin drips, and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Experience with adult and geriatric populations in stepdown settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outcome-focused care utilizing the nursing process for cardiac medical stepdown patients
