Project Accountant – Hybrid (Seabrook, NH) About the Opportunity for a Project Accountant Ready to take your accounting career to the next level near the Seacoast? We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join a thriving organization in Seabrook, NH. This hybrid position offers the perfect blend of in-office collaboration (3 days) and remote flexibility (2 days), all while working on a diverse and evolving property portfolio— including active construction and work-in-progress (WIP) projects. In this role, you’ll step into a high-impact seat where your expertise as a Project Accountant will directly support both stabilized assets and ongoing development initiatives. Why This Property Accountant Role Stands Out Exposure to construction accounting and WIP tracking A dynamic portfolio A collaborative, growth-focused team environment Flexibility with a hybrid schedule What You’ll Do Own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties and active development projects Manage day-to-day accounting functions including AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations Track and report on construction budgets, job costs, and WIP schedules Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, identifying trends and variances Partner closely with property managers, project managers, and leadership to provide actionable financial insights Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit support What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience (real estate required; construction/WIP exposure strongly preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger management Experience with job costing, development accounting, or WIP reporting is a major plus Advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems What’s in It for You Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 + bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package Hybrid flexibility (3 days in-office, 2 remote) Opportunity to gain valuable experience in construction and development accounting A supportive team that values your input and professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
