Claims Examiner

CSI Companies is seeking experienced Claims Examiners to support a short-term backlog initiative within a fast-paced healthcare environment.This role is ideal for candidates with experience in medical claims processing who can quickly ramp up, work independently, and maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy in a remote setting.You will play a key role in reviewing, analyzing, and processing claims, ensuring timely resolution while adhering to established guidelines and compliance standards. Hours: 40 hours/week - Monday to Friday, standard business hours

Location: Remote - Must reside in Florida

Pay: $22-$25/hour based on relevant experience, education, and credentials (adjust as needed)

Position Type: Contract - 2-3 months (with potential extension based on backlog completion) Work Authorization:
Candidates must be eligible to work on W2. No C2C at this time.

What you'll do: • Review and adjudicate medical claims in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Analyze claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility requirements
• Process, adjust, or deny claims based on benefit plans and supporting documentation
• Research and resolve discrepancies including coding issues and coordination of benefits (COB)
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Maintain productivity standards while working through high-volume backlog queues
• Escalate complex or unresolved claims issues as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate claims resolution

What we're looking for: • 1-2+ years of experience in medical claims processing or claims examination
• Experience working in high-volume, production-driven environments
• Strong understanding of claims adjudication workflows and processes
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Nice to have:
• Experience with Medicare and/or Commercial claims processing
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Experience handling backlog or aged claims queues
