Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage supporting inpatient care at multiple hospitals in Toledo, Ohio. This opportunity involves consults, follow-up visits, and preparation for endoscopy procedures within a Level I trauma hospital setting, providing comprehensive inpatient services to adult patients.

Opportunity Highlights

• Setting: Inpatient/hospital-based at hospitals in Toledo, Ohio
• Schedule: Every other week, starting ASAP, seven days per week, 7:00 to 17:00
• Coverage: Ongoing

Schedule & Coverage

• Seven days per week (Sunday–Saturday)
• Daily hours: 7:00 to 17:00
• Every other week, starting ASAP

Clinical Scope

• Conducts consults and follow-up visits
• Prepares patients for endoscopy procedures
• Provides inpatient/hospital-based care for adult patients
• Manages an average of 20-25 patients per day
• Operates at a Level 1 trauma hospital

Requirements

• Active Ohio medical license
• DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology or related field
• Clinical certifications as required
• Experience performing consults, follow-up visits, and scheduled procedures
• Competency in inpatient hospital setting
