The Inventory Control Supervisor oversees the management and accuracy of inventory processes, ensuring efficient stock levels and compliance with company standards. Leading a small team, this role involves regular stock auditing, data analysis, and coordination with suppliers to optimize inventory flow and maintain quality control.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control processes and maintain accurate stock records
- Conduct weekly inventory audits to ensure data integrity
- Supervise a small team of 1-5 members, providing guidance and support
- Analyze inventory data and produce regular reports for management
- Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Liaise regularly with suppliers to coordinate stock replenishment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in inventory control
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proficient with inventory management systems such as AS400, WMS, and spreadsheet tools
- Strong skills in data analysis, forecasting, and quality control
- Proven team leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Advanced Excel proficiency
