Description:
The Behavioral Health (BH) Medicine Case Manager supports behavioral health medical providers by coordinating patient care, facilitating communication, and managing medication-related workflows. This role ensures efficient clinic operations through a combination of direct patient engagement and administrative support, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care. They will also ensure efficient patient flow and be available to assist with nursing functions as needed. Under general supervision, performs intake procedures and routine medical duties in the care and treatment of patients.
Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or case management
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
