Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced dental practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during general and specialty procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
• Review post-operative instructions with patients
• Follow infection-control and sterilization protocols
• Support efficient patient flow and room turnover
• Assist with charting, clinical notes, and supply management
• Help patients feel comfortable throughout treatment
• Work collaboratively with the doctor, front office, and clinical team

Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience required
• Knowledge of proper sterilization and infection-control procedures
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• All-on-X and periodontal experience are a plus
• Dentrix experience is a plus
• California X-ray certification preferred
• Coronal polishing and infection-control certifications are a plus
