Duke Automotive is looking for an experienced automotive dealership accounting professional who is ready to grow into a key leadership role with our family-owned dealership. If you are an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Office Manager, Senior Accountant, Controller, or another experienced dealership accounting professional who understands dealership accounting and is ready for greater responsibility, we would like to meet you.

What You'll Do

· Oversee key dealership accounting and administrative functions, including AP, AR, inventory controls, DOC, bank accounts, bank and floor plan reconciliation and financial reporting.

· Work with our HR/Payroll person to oversee payroll, benefits, and HR.

· Help lead the month-end close and ensure accurate, timely GM financial statements completed by 3rd working day.

· Maintain strong accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance with manufacturer, lender, tax, and regulatory requirements.

· Review sales, gross profit, expenses, and other financial information with department managers and general manager to identify issues and opportunities to improve dealership performance.

· Work closely with ownership, the General Manager, and leaders across sales, service, parts, and other departments.

· Coach, mentor, and support members of the accounting and administrative team.

· Help improve accounting procedures, technology utilization, controls, and overall dealership operations.

What We're Looking For

· Previous automotive dealership accounting experience strongly preferred.

· Strong working knowledge of dealership accounting processes and financial operations.

· Leadership, supervisory, training, or team-development experience.

· High integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with managers and ownership.

· General Motors experience preferred, but not required; DealerTrack experience preferred but not required.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort working with dealership technology and IT providers.
