Physical Therapist (PT) – School-Based

Location: Orange, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours per Week
Pay: $65–$70 per hour
Setting: Multiple Schools in the Orange, NJ Area

KindSpire Education is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and provide school-based services across multiple schools in the Orange, New Jersey area. This is a full-time opportunity for a compassionate and skilled professional who enjoys working with students and collaborating with educators, families, and school support teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students in multiple school settings.
• Evaluate students' physical and functional needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy programs based on student needs and goals.
• Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the student support team.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' educational and developmental goals as needed.
• Help students improve mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence.
• Ensure services are provided in accordance with applicable professional and school-based standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Current New Jersey Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations in the Orange, NJ area.

Compensation & Schedule

• Full-Time: 35 hours per week
• Pay Rate: $65–$70 per hour
• School-based position covering multiple schools in the Orange, NJ area.
