About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fuels Marketing to lead and empower the Sales Team in achieving departmental goals. These goals encompass employee development, securing optimal product netbacks, delivering exceptional service, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving profitable growth in fuels markets. The successful candidate will also be instrumental in the transition to commercial fuel sales and delivery, as well as ensuring compliance with the Renewable Fuels Standard. Responsibilities for this role include developing and executing growth strategies, directing various business verticals, and overseeing fuel sales, supply, hedging, and pricing. The VP will also be involved in representing the company at industry events, monitoring the regulatory environment, and acting as a subject matter expert in fuel matters. Applicants for the Vice President, Fuels Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, with a preference for a degree in a relevant area. A minimum of 10 years' experience in fuels sales management is required, along with a strong understanding of fuels market dynamics, the Renewable Fuels Standard, and fuels specifications. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in Mergers & Acquisitions, experience in acquiring Jobbers, and proficiency in fuels hedging. The ideal candidate will be adept at using planning software and SAP, and have advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite. The role also requires the ability to travel up to 30% of the time and a demonstrated ability to lead a high-performance sales team with a focus on customer retention and growth.
