Tire and Hub Module Production Assembler

Job Description

Do you like working with tools? Enjoy building something the right way every time? If so, this Lafayette-based role could be a great fit.

Role snapshot

Build tire-and-wheel hub modules for passenger vehicles
Use hand and power tools to assemble to specification
Examine parts for defects prior to assembly and before release
Team with others to meet hourly and daily output goals
Maintain a clean, safe, organized workstation

Pay

1st Shift: $17.50/hr
2nd Shift: $18.00/hr

Schedule and training

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; overtime may be required; Saturdays as needed
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–1:00 AM; overtime may be required; Saturdays as needed
Initial training: 1st Shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, possible overtime) for 2–3 weeks, then transition to 2nd shift

You’ll bring

Experience in manufacturing or factory settings preferred
Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools
Forklift experience is advantageous
Team-first attitude and dependable work ethic
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
Comfort working in a factory environment without climate control
