Executive Director, Worldwide Cell Therapy Medical Communications Lead

Position Summary Executive Director, Medical Communications Lead (Cell Therapy Medical) owns external scientific communications and publication governance for the Cell Therapy portfolio and serves as a strategic partner across the end-to-end cell therapy value chain. Accountable for timely, compliant, high-quality scientific disclosure through publications, congresses, scientific content, and selected reactive communications; steward reputational/journal/investigator/compliance risk; drive continuous improvement in governance and operating models. Key Responsibilities Lead CT Medical scientific disclosure strategy across asset lifecycles (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, oral presentations, reactive materials). Serve as primary Medical Communications partner to Global Development, Clinical Operations, Translational Medicine, Commercial, Market Access, Patient Safety, Regulatory, Quality, and Manufacturing/Supply. Ensure external communications align to strategy, evidence generation plans, asset maturity, and ethical/compliance standards. Lead publication governance and policy interpretation; define decision rights, cadence, and cross-functional expectations. Establish CT Medical standards for publications, scientific content, and independent medical education (e.g., aligned to GPP/SOPs). Drive best practices, tools, and standardized workflows; build team capability, talent development, succession planning; lead global teams. Qualifications & Experience Knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP), Sunshine Act, and post‑marketing scientific communications. Deep external scientific communications expertise across the asset lifecycle (cell therapy/advanced therapies strongly preferred). Understanding of cell therapy ecosystem and end‑to‑end value chain implications for disclosure and stakeholder engagement.
