Job Description

Automotive Technician | No Weekends | Up to $100K+ with Bonus Pay

Ever wonder what it’s like to get base pay AND a bonus for how much you get done?

At Hunter’s Garage in Clearfield, PA, that’s exactly how it works.

You’re paid a solid, steady base—whether the shop’s packed or slow, that’s never something you have to worry about.

On top of that base, crank out more than 40 hours of work in a week and you get paid up to $10 more per hour for every hour over 40.

It’s steady income with real upside—and it’s a big part of why our team sticks around.

We’re an 8-bay shop in Clearfield, PA, and we’re still growing. Two new technicians joined the crew this past year alone, and we’ve got one more spot open for the right person.

• No weekends, ever—a schedule you can actually build a life around.
• $60,000–$100,000+ per year total earning potential.
• Base pay up to $46 per hour, plus an uncapped bonus structure.
• An extra $10 per hour on every billed hour over 40.
• Steady, busy shop—no dead weeks waiting on work.
• Service Advisors who back up your recommendations and help sell them.

• Clean, organized, 8-bay facility with modern equipment.
• Every specialty and diagnostic tool you need—provided.
• Semiannual reviews with real raise opportunities, not just a formality.
• Ongoing paid training, both in-house and off-site.

• Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
• 80 hours of PTO your first year.
• 401(k).
• Paid holidays.
• Up to $200 per month in tool bonus opportunities.
• Relocation assistance and a gas allowance for qualified candidates.
• Birthday and work-anniversary bonuses.
• Weekly team lunches.
• A team that actually has your back.

You’ll handle repairs across all vehicle systems and run basic diagnostics and testing.

If you’re ready to take the next step in a shop that’s organized, respected, and busy, this is that opportunity.

• Two or more years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician.
• Valid PA driver’s license and PA inspection license.
• A strong work ethic—integrity, accountability, and reliability.
• A team player who communicates well.
• A willingness to keep learning and sharpening your craft.

Doug Hunter built this shop after spending 40 years in the bays himself. He built it for technicians who take pride in their work and want to be treated like it.

We’re a crew of Auto Repair Nerds—and we mean that as a compliment.
