About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM) Experience: 2 years strongly preferred License: Multi-State/Compact RN license Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge Must-Have: Experience in scrub roles is strongly preferred. This position requires working 3x12 hour shifts, with a schedule from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. On-call shifts are required, up to 2 call shifts per month, with additional weekend and holiday requirements. The traveler may float within scope to meet facility needs. Description: This role involves providing nursing care in a busy operating room environment. You will be part of a nursing team in a level-one trauma center. There are 21 OR suites covering diverse surgical specialties. The nursing team consists primarily of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. Registered Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate during surgical procedures. This is a dynamic nurse-driven department, recognized for its excellence in care. Candidates should be willing to accommodate scheduling requests as needed. Travelers should be prepared for possible assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season. All candidates must be compliant with health guidelines, including flu vaccination requirements. RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of application submission. Please note, locals will be considered at a lower bill rate on a case-by-case basis. Candidates with a pending license should provide proof of application for consideration. All qualifications must be met before starting the position to ensure smooth compliance processes.
