About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience strongly preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge (to be provided by agency) Must-Have: Must be willing to work on-call shifts and weekends Description: Position for an Operating Room Registered Nurse available. The nurse will work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. On-call shifts are required, with up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks. The nurse is required to work up to one weekend shift every 4 weeks. The candidate must be available during holiday periods and work at least one holiday. Experience in scrub role is strongly preferred. Registered nurses in this unit scrub and circulate surgical procedures. This is a dynamic, nurse-driven environment within a level-one trauma center. The operating room covers multiple surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, and robotics. Interdisciplinary support is available throughout the unit. Local candidates may be considered, but preference will be given to non-local applicants. All requests for time off must be submitted upon application. Candidates with a pending license will also be considered. Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during specific seasons. All compliance requirements must be met prior to the start date.
