Sales Consultant

Job Description Sales Associate at La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries. Responsibilities Interact with customers appropriately and professionally, providing the highest level of customer service to all current and future customers. Guide high‑end clients through a premium sales experience. Create inspired spaces with world‑class furniture and décor. Curate luxury looks while earning commissions with no ceiling. Drive sales by contributing to store sales goals through selling furniture, accessories, and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy. Complete all sales paperwork and customer service issues in a timely manner. Attend and participate in company training and store meetings. Assist in training, coaching, and developing new peers on product knowledge and selling processes. Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, maintain orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveries. Follow company procedures and policies, including anti‑harassment, attendance, and sales policies. Perform a minimum number of house calls to customer homes. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and positively influence customers. Vocational or technical training in a related field preferred. Experience in luxury sales or retail; prior selling experience strongly preferred. Ability to close a sale and achieve sales targets. Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills. Computer literate and willing to use company technology. Reliable transportation to drive to customer homes. Physical ability to bend, lift, and stand for long periods. Compensation Training pay: $22.00 per hour for two weeks (no commission). After training: base salary of approximately $45,864 per year, plus uncapped monthly commission ranging from 6% to 7.5% on individual written sales.
