Laser OperatorLocation: Tampa / near Oldsmar, FLSchedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 am to 4:00 pmPay: $17.75/hrPosition Summary: The Laser Operator is responsible for the daily operation of laser machines, including handling and moving materials to and from the equipment. This role ensures quality production output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate laser machines to complete production jobsMove materials to and from machines as requiredPerform quality checks and troubleshoot quality issuesComplete inspection reports for all jobs run on equipmentRead and interpret blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring toolsIdentify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisionMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all safety procedures and regulations, including proper use of PPE (steel toe safety boots required)Essential Skills and Knowledge:Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong attention to detail and precisionArm-hand steadiness and manual dexterityAbility to operate and control machinery safelyProblem sensitivity and monitoring skillsDependability and cooperationAbility to handle and move materials safelyStrong communication and teamwork skillsTime management and organizational skillsEducation and Experience:1–3 years of experience operating a laser machine
